Privacy Policy

WhatFliesWhen is a search tool for Frontier’s GoWild pass. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who we share it with. We keep it to what the product actually needs — there is no advertising and no third-party tracking.

What we collect

• Account. Your email address, used to sign you in with a one-time link. You can optionally add a name, and a phone number — only if you turn on SMS alerts.
• Alerts and saved searches. The routes, dates, and conditions you ask us to watch, so we can notify you.
• Usage counts. To keep free search fair, we count searches against a random identifier stored in our cache. It is not tied to your name and expires within about a day. We use the same mechanism for rate limiting.
• Billing. If you subscribe to Pro, our payment processor handles your card. We store only your customer and subscription identifiers and your plan status — never card numbers.
• Server logs. Ordinary request logs for security and debugging, kept briefly.

What we don’t collect

Seat and fare numbers come from our own captures of public availability, not from you. We don’t buy or sell personal data, and we don’t run advertising or analytics trackers.

Cookies

We set one first-party cookie: your sign-in session, created after you follow a magic link. It keeps you logged in. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Who we share with

We share the minimum needed with service providers the operator has enabled, and only for the purpose named:

• A payment processor (Stripe) to take and manage Pro payments.
• An email provider to send you sign-in links and alert emails.
• An SMS provider (Twilio) to text alerts — only if you enable SMS.

Each receives only what its job requires (for example, your email to send a message, or the charge amount to process a payment).

Your choices

You can delete any alert or saved search at any time, and remove your phone number from the alerts settings. To delete your account and associated data, email us at alerts@whatflieswhen.com. Deleting your account cancels any active subscription through the billing portal first.
